Russia has put aside an infrastructure investment fund of about US$180 billion*

With big events such as Economic Forum ATES in Vladivostok, 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, and now the World Cup 2018 approaching, there is an urgent need to update and develop infrastructure outside the traditional areas of Moscow and St Petersburg. With this, there are various infrastructure components which need to be updated or developed – including Stadiums, Hotels, Roads, Bridges and Tunnels.

Tunnels, are a very significant part of these infrastructure networks and projects such as Winter 2014 Olympics Road and Escape Tunnels Linking Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana are currently underway.
